Christmas Parade

Last night was Holland's annual Light Parade. Since last year's parade was Ben's first, we had to go again. (Remember? Traditions matter.)

It was "warm" this year so there was a HUGE turn out.
And the parade moved a little slow.
Let's just say standing wall-to-wall people for a solid hour at bedtime was not exactly Ben's idea of the best way to spend the evening.
The good news is we had lots of company to join in the "fun." Grandma & Grandpa Johnson came with Aunt Jen and Lily. And Ezra and his mommy and daddy came, too!
(I hope we didn't hype this too much!)
And I hope Ben likes it more next year.
Not sure why I type all that - pretty sure you just want to see pictures anyway.
Right?
Here ya go.

This is my "Can it be over now?" look. Keith saw it a lot that night.

Ezra and Ben butts.

Doesn't he look like he's having so much fun?! :)

How 'bout now? Is this fun?

Okay, so it wasn't all bad. There were some massively huge trucks all decked out in lights that made Ben look like this.
We didn't capture it on Ben so I reenacted.
You're welcome.

I think in the beginning we make these efforts more for ourselves than our babies, but at the very least, you're ensuring that as far back as his memory takes him, he'll have the traditions. And you're right, they do matter!

Yeah. Our "traditions" are 100% all about me. For now. :)
