Bragging

If you don't want to read me brag about my kid, stop reading.

This weekend, we played at two new playgrounds with new friends.
It was a blast.
Both times, I got a shocked looked from other mommies who said something to the effect of, "Boy - you just let him go like that?"

Um.... yeah.

Both times that comment was followed up with, "Wow - he sure is solid on his feet, isn't he?"


Yep.


It's true that all kids are different. And it's weird that we only really know our own. I had no idea how much I was taking Ben's balance for granted. But I do. Cautiously, of course. Of course.

But still.
That little monkey scampered up a climbing wall yesterday unassisted until I had to pull him down because he was over my head.
I guess we're reaping the fruits of the countless hours spent on the stairs :-)
