Proverbs 22:6

Long ago, when we were desperate to aid Ben in developing good sleep habits, we developed quite an elaborate bedtime routine.
It includes 2 books, a prayer (or two) and then I sing "Jesus Loves Me" to him before kissing him goodnight.
I've often regretted it because Ben freaks out whenever I try to sing Jesus Loves Me outside of bedtime. He'll scream, "No singing!"
After this past week, I'll never regret it again.
Because now, Ben sings along.
He voluntarily removes his pacifier, locks eyes with me and sings as best he can.
It's just about the cutest, most precious thing I've ever seen.

I know exactly what you mean. I can't smile big enough when Abbie starts to sing along. I picture the size of the smile that must be resting on Jesus' face, too. It's a good thing.
