Another First

Ben and I were playing a wild game of bubbles today.
Wild.
It involved him trying to get me to taste the bubble wand, which made me puke, which made him laugh hysterically.
As the hilarity ensued, Ben got more and more rambunctious - flailing arms and hopping into my lap.
The game ended when one such leap somehow rammed the stinking bubble wand way- WAY up my nose.
It was my first injury-related bloody nose and it sucked.
It was also the first time Ben ever saw his mommy bleed and that was scary.

We'll just file this experience away in the category of Raising Boys, shall we?
