This is how we spent 5 hours on Saturday morning while his fever crept up to 104.
Seeing him so listless was a first for us - and scary, too!
It meant that we missed out on a lot this weekend - our trip to Chicago, Lily's birthday party, a pig roast, the beach.
BUT, it also meant that we spent some unexpected quiet time as a family. This was especially good because Mommy & Daddy both felt a little under the weather, too. There were many, many naps had this holiday weekend.
And we still got to see all of our family who came over to visit/check in on Ben. And we made friends with a very nice on-call pediatrician who I will likely hug when we meet some day.

The fever, cough, running nose stuff I can handle. But you're right, the listlessness is scary! Glad to see he's feeling better.
